An enriching experience where art and beauty embraced solidarity: on the occasion of the inauguration of WonderLAD – the home dedicated to children affected by oncological diseases and their families – Isola Bella Gioielli presented, with a special “zero lesson,” the Jewelry Design workshop. The creative path, led by Dr. Giuseppe Argurio, will be an opportunity for fun and growth for the little ones who will attend the facility established in Catania and is already scheduled in the calendar for the first months of 2020, on a weekly basis.

The children will have the chance to bring to life a unique and personal creation, starting from the idea and the drawing. The goal is to create a silver jewel produced by micro casting, conceived and created by the little ones and then transformed into precious metal, finally enameled in true Isola Bella style.

The WonderLAD project was made possible thanks to the help of numerous international sponsors and partners and attracted the attention of the public and institutions. Among the many guests attending the ribbon-cutting was also the Minister of Labor and Social Policies Nunzia Catalfo, to whom Isola Bella donated the solidarity charm L’Albero dei Desideri, created specifically to support the LAD association – promoter of the WonderLAD project.

Part of the proceeds from the charm sales – which features the colors and logo of the association – are destined to fund LAD’s activities, both in the newly inaugurated home and in the Pediatric Oncohematology department of the Policlinico of Catania.
